Alexandre Wimmer is a french guitarist, composer, producer and arranger.

With degrees in Art and Music, he has won several awards for music composition including the National Jazz Contest of La Défense (Paris).
He has worked with various bands, including ZAKARYA, with which he recorded five cds on the New-York label Tzadik, and has explored a wide array of musical genres from Jazz to Pop via Electronica.
His passion is blending music with other arts and particularly with cinema. He was commissioned to compose and play the soundtrack for silent movie at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.

With his guitar and computer, Alexandre combines traditional sounds with the avant-garde to create a world both unfamiliar and provocative.
